“(…) her laughter cutting through the haze of his guilt-ridden solitude like sunlight through fog”.
This is gorgeous. I love the way you describe things, it really conjures up visuals in my head.
A couple years ago, I went hiking on the Faroe Islands by myself, and this story brought me back there, with the dark sea, the islands in the distance and the sense of isolation and surrealness.
i was so intensely present in consuming this. i felt myself watching from afar, smelling the salt of the sea itself. thank you for writing, this piece made me feel a bit more present within myself too, more than i have in awhile. <3
your descriptiveness is like watching a watercolor come to life. thanks for the visuals!
This totally transported me back to the weeks I spent on the Aran Islands as a teenager, love the imagery and voice
Awesome story. Grief is like a scary and marvelous adventure

Fantastic imagery, thank you!
This paired perfectly with my morning coffee. Thank you!
