It always hits so hard to see other radicals reference the Stop Cop City movement as a blueprint. I was in the area and participated on the periphery of the dissentersgsu/Weelaunee Coalition groups and it was such an impactful moment for me. The movement is not over!! If anyone gets the chance check out the many groups looking to save the Weelaunee Forest and stop cop city :)
Beautiful work, and a powerful framing of this moment. Paige reached into my soul with: "I've always imagined a world outside this inescapable alienation." 💛
Very inspirational. Power to all the people organizing in their cities, creating the propaganda, educating the masses, and pushing for direct action. More major cities are militarizing their police force in spite of our dissent in 2020, and it’s a well known fact that the mossad train American police forces. Imperial aggression is directly tied to domestic repression. Thank you for your bravery, Calla and Paige, and thank you Lolo for conveying their words.
Great article today, Lolo. Really appreciate the Grace Lee Boggs tie in, as she's one of my favorites to re-read when I'm feeling particularly down/hopeless. Hope we can continue the momentum of change regardless of who wins. We can't stop fighting!
In light of this, it's a good time to draw attention to the reality that there are many political prisoners being held in the u.s., right now; some because of the George Floyd uprisings mentioned in the interview, some because of Palestine (the Holy Land 5 were also mentioned), some who have been captured for revolutionary activity decades ago. Anti-colonial prison support should be a collective endeavor for collective strength, not dependent on idolizing individuals—we all have strengths & faults.
Thank you for doing this work, Lolo. This interview really made me reflect on my commitment to this type of work, the philosophy behind my approach, and how I can commit on a deeper level to “walking the walk” (for lack of a less cliche phrase). Keep doing what you’re doing. It’s making a difference.
This piece reminds me of discussions around groups like XR and the long standing struggle of eco-advocates to conduct counter measures that meaningfully impact climate change.
Thank you Alex for sharing our words! Great to meet you comrade, see you on the other side

Intensely good read. I hope we all find the strength to take action in the way they did. Thanks for your great writing on this brother 🤝

Thank you for bringing this conversation to so many. Powerful to hear strong conviction in the face of state retaliation.

They’re too concerned with optics in my dealings with them in so-called Australia
